Drive to Sakkara to see the Step Pyramid, built by the exalted architect Imhotep for the 3rd Dynasty Pharaoh Djoser. See one of the 4,500-year-old mastabas in Sakkara with amazing carvings and colors, which give an idea about life in ancient Egypt.
Visit a carpet school in Sakkara, where locals are being trained in the traditional craft of weaving, following techniques used by their ancestors for thousands of years.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue to Giza to visit one of the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids. Enter the royal burial chamber of either Menkaure or Khafre Pyramid, the Valley Temple, and the Sphinx.
Enjoy a camel ride in the desert around the pyramids.
Visit a papyrus institute and see step-by-step demonstrations and extensive displays of papyrus artworks. You can choose among hundreds of designs, including printing your name in hieroglyphics with scenes from ancient Egypt (the artworks are certified genuine papyrus).
Return to your hotel overnight.

Visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, including the extraordinary Mummies Room. The museum is in Old Cairo, the historic heart of the city. It is the only museum in Egypt offering a full overview of Egypt’s historical periods, from the Predynastic and Ancient Egyptian periods to contemporary times.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
We will finish our touring today exploring Khan el Khalili Bazaar and mingling with locals in one of the coffee shops to enjoy Egyptian beverages.

Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), one of the most significant archaeological and cultural institutions in the world. It houses a vast collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including treasures from the Tomb of Tutankhamun.

Return to your hotel overnight.
Transfer to Cairo Airport for your morning flight to Aswan.
Connect with your flight to Abu Simbel and visit the two awesome temples built by Ramses the Great. The entire complex of temples was moved to its present location 90 feet above its original site to protect it from the rising water of the Nile when the Aswan Dam was built in the early 1960s.
Fly back to Aswan and our representative will transfer you to your Nile Cruise.
Have lunch on board.
Take a short motorboat ride to the Temple of Philae on the island of Agilika. The temple was dedicated to Isis, sister/wife of Osiris and patroness of the Ptolemaic rule.
In late afternoon, walk through the Aswan Market, one of the famous old markets in Africa for spices and herbs.
Return to your cruise.
Dinner and overnight on board your cruise in Aswan.
Visit the Temple of Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility and creator of the world. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank.
Sail to Edfu.
Visit the Temple of Horus, the most perfectly preserved of all the Nile Temples. Horus was the falcon-headed, sky god, son of Isis and Osiris.
Cross the lock at Esna and sail to Luxor for dinner and overnight.

Cross to the west bank of the Nile and visit the Valley of the Kings, a vast city of the dead, where the tombs of 62 pharaohs have been discovered. The tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated, and filled with treasures for the afterlife. Visit several of the tombs.
Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This beautiful monument to the reign of one of the few female pharaohs rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it.
On the way back to your Nile cruise, stop at the famed Colossi of Memnon, two 66ft, one thousand-ton statues of Amenhotep III. These colossal statues were known by the ancient Greeks to emit haunting voices at dawn. Though damaged by nature and ancient tourists, the statues are still impressive.

Evening: Take a horse carriage ride along the corniche and past the illuminated Temple of Luxor.

Its ancient name Ipet-isut means “the most sacred of places.” The temple complex was built over more than two thousand years by generation after generation of pharaohs. Within the complex, the great Hypostyle Hall is an incredible forest of giant pillars covering an area larger than Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Then drive to Hurghada on the shores of the Red Sea for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a free day on the Red Sea with many possible activities like scuba, snorkeling, boating and much more. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel. After breakfast, our guide will escort you to your boat for a day cruise on the crystal waters of the Red Sea. Enjoy stunning scenery and perhaps encounter playful dolphins dancing alongside the boat. You’ll have a chance to snorkel in the unique waters with an exceptional variety of sea life and experience why the Red Sea is one of the top diving destinations in the world.
