DAY 1 - ATHENS
Upon arrival in Athens, you will be met by a Ya'lla Tours USA representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight.

DAY 2 - ATHENS
This morning, take a 1/2-day city tour of Athens. This tour highlights the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. We start with a driving tour past the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Continue driving by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and Constitution Square (Syntagma).
At the Acropolis, visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit,” the monument that “puts order in the mind,” the Parthenon. Continue to visit the New Acropolis Museum, where beautiful statues from the acropolis have found a home.
Return to the hotel for overnight.

DAY 3 - OLYMPIA
Follow the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf, past the Corinth Canal and Old Corinth, to Epidaurus for a visit to the 4th-century BCE theater with its incredible acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nafplion for a short stop. Drive on to Mycenae, the center of one of Europe's earliest civilizations. According to legend, King Agamemnon led his Greek warriors from Mycenae to engage the Trojans in a war that lasted 10 years. Visit the archaeological site and the tomb of Agamemnon. Continue to Olympia through the central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Arrive Olympia for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 - DELPHI
Visit the archaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the ancient stadium, and the Archaeological Museum. Then, drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia to the magnificent bridge which crosses the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea en route to Delphi, nestled in the mountains of Parnassus with an unforgettable view across acres of olive trees as far as the Gulf of Corinth. Delphi was the site of the famous Oracle of Apollo. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

DAY 5 - KALAMBAKA
Visit the archaeological site of Delphi, the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, and the Museum. See the City Treasuries, the delicate 5th-century statue of the Charioteer and other priceless art treasures discovered nearby. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of gigantic stone pillars and monasteries of Meteora. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.

DAY 6 - ATHENS
Visit Meteora. Perched atop massive columns of rock, stand ageless monasteries which house exquisite specimens of Byzantine art.
Return to Athens for overnight.

DAY 7 -
You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
