This is one of our motor coach Israel tours.
From the Galilee to Jerusalem, plus the Dead Sea & Masada, this tour covers Jewish sites in Israel, Christian sites in Israel and general sites.

This Israel tour is guaranteed to operate with a minimum of 2 passengers.
The average group size is 15 and the maximum is 40, although a group that large is rare. The busiest months are May and October.

 


THURSDAY - TEL AVIV
Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, you will be met by Ya'lla Tours USA's representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight.

FRIDAY - TIBERIAS
Drive to Jaffa (Joppa) and take a short walking tour in the picturesque alleys of the old, fortified town. Pass the house of Simon the Tanner and enjoy the hilltop view. Then drive north along the coast to the ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honor of Augustus Caesar. Continue to Megiddo, a site inhabited continuously for over five millennia. This is the site called Armageddon in the Book of Revelation. Drive on to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee for overnight.

SATURDAY - TIBERIAS
Drive to the lower Galilee region to visit the baptism site at Yardenit on the Jordan River. Continue along the shore of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, the center of Jesus' ministry. Visit Tabgha, just north of Tiberias, the site of the miracle of the 5,000. At the Church of the Multiplication, see the mosaic floor depicting a basket with loaves and two fishes. Visit the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter.
Drive on to the Mount of Beatitudes, overlooking the sea, where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Continue up to the Golan Heights for a panoramic view of Mt. Hermon and the rugged plateau.
Return to Tiberias for overnight.

SUNDAY - JERUSALEM
Visit Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation, built on the site where the archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. Also see Mary's well and Joseph's Church.
Visit the Wedding Church at Cana, where Jesus miraculously turned water into wine. In the foothills of the Gilboa Mountains, visit the ancient synagogue at Beit Alpha, with beautifully preserved mosaics. Drive on through the Jordan Valley, past Jericho and into the Judean Mountains to Jerusalem for overnight.



MONDAY - JERUSALEM
Drive through the remarkable scenery of the Dead Sea area to Masada, an isolated mountain fortress in the Judean Desert.
The site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations of King Herod’s palace, the synagogue, bathhouse and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea below. Visit the site of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Continue to the shores of the Dead Sea; at nearly 1,300 feet below sea level, it is the lowest point on the earth’s surface. Take a float on the salty, mineral rich, water.
Return to Jerusalem for overnight.

TUESDAY - JERUSALEM
Start the day at the Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book which houses the famous Dead Sea Scrolls. Also at the museum, see the beautiful scale model of Herodian Jerusalem.
Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial.
Drive to Ein Karem, a picturesque village on the outskirts of Jerusalem and the traditional birthplace of John the Baptist.
Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square.* Return to your hotel for overnight.

WEDNESDAY - JERUSALEM
Enter the Old City of Jerusalem, where you will see the Western Wall and the actual site of the Second Temple, the Temple Mount. Walk the Way of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa, to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection. Just outside the Old City, visit Mount Zion, with the traditional tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane at the foot of the Mount of Olives, where Judas betrayed Jesus. Enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of Jerusalem - the holy city for each of the world’s three great religions – Christianity, Judaism and Islam, from atop the Mount of Olives.
Return to your hotel for overnight.

THURSDAY -
You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
