This is one of our motor coach Israel tours.

From the Galilee to Jerusalem, plus the Dead Sea & Masada, this tour covers Jewish sites in Israel, Christian sites in Israel and general sites.

This Israel tour is guaranteed to operate with a minimum of 2 passengers.
The average group size is 15 and the maximum is 40, although a group that large is rare. The busiest months are May and October.

SUNDAY - TEL AVIV
Upon arrival, you will be met by a Ya'lla Tours USA representative and transferred to your Tel Aviv hotel for overnight.

MONDAY - JERUSALEM
Depart for Masada. Take the cable car to the top of the fortress and visit the Roman palaces, store houses, synagogues and bath house which witnessed the Jewish resistance to the Romans approximately 2000 years ago.
Descend by cable car and proceed to the Dead Sea for a float in the water.
Drive up into the Judean Hills to the most beautiful city in the world, Jerusalem, for overnight.

TUESDAY - JERUSALEM
Start the day at the Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book which houses the famous Dead Sea Scrolls. Also at the museum, see the scale model of Herodian Jerusalem.
Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. Continue to Ein Karem, a picturesque village on the outskirts of Jerusalem and the traditional birthplace of John the Baptist. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square.*
Return to your hotel for overnight.

WEDNESDAY - JERUSALEM
Take a walking tour of the Old City. See the Western Wall, the Temple area, the colorful bazaars, the Via Dolorosa, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Drive to Mount Zion for a visit to the tomb of King David and the Last Supper Room.
Enjoy the spectacular, panoramic view of Jerusalem from atop the Mount of Olives.
Visit the Garden of Gethsemane at the foot of the Mount of Olives.
Visit the Mahane Yehuda market, in the heart of downtown Jerusalem, to experience the flavors, aromas and colors of the largest open-air market in Israel and mingle with traders and local shoppers.
Return to your hotel for overnight.

THURSDAY - TIBERIAS**
Drive north from Jerusalem passing by Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Continue northward via the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean and visit the excavations of this beautifully preserved Roman city.
Enjoy an Israeli wine country experience, with a vineyard tour and wine tasting.
Travel through the Golan, with its Druze villages, former Syrian fortifications and panoramic views of Mount Hermon and Syria.
Descend to the Hula Valley and drive to Tiberias on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, one of the four holy cities in Judaism, where the Talmud was compiled, with tombs of rabbis scattered across the city.
Continue to your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

FRIDAY - TIBERIAS**
Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee, visiting Capernaum, with ruins of an ancient synagogue, the Mount of Beatitudes, traditional site of the Sermon on the Mount, and Tabgha, traditional site of the miracle of the loaves and fish.
At Nazareth, visit the Church of the Annunciation and other Christian holy sites.
Return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

SATURDAY - TEL AVIV
Drive to St. John of Acre (Akko) and visit the Knights’ Halls, one of the most beautiful remains of the Crusader period. Continue to Haifa and ascend Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city, including the Baha'i Shrine, Persian Garden and Haifa Bay. Proceed along the coast to Caesarea to visit the ruins of this ancient port city. Continue to Tel Aviv and the ancient port of Jaffa for a short city tour before arriving at the hotel for overnight.

SUNDAY -
You will be transferred to the airport for your
departure flight.

Travel Tips

Climate
The climate of Israel is warm and sunny for most of the year. Winters are short but can be cold and rainy. Rainfall is mostly limited to between November and April.
In general, Jerusalem is cooler than Tel Aviv. The hottest areas are those below sea level - the Jordan Valley, the shores of the Sea of Galilee, the Dead Sea and
the areas around Eilat.

May-October is the ideal time to visit Israel.

Documentation
A current passport, valid for at least six months from your scheduled return date, is the only documentation required of American citizens to enter Israel. If planning to visit any Arab or Muslim states, excluding Egypt and
Jordan, you can request that the Immigration authorities stamp a piece of paper rather than your passport.

Shots
No immunizations are necessary to visit Israel.

Dress
Casual, comfortable clothing is fine for touring. Skirts and slacks or jeans are okay anywhere. In the winter, you’ll need a medium weight coat and a cardigan or pullover should be packed for possibly chilly summer evenings. Pack things you can layer. Midday and afternoon can be considerably warmer than mornings and evenings.

Religious sites are not open to anyone dressed immodestly; men and women must cover their legs and shoulders. Arms must be covered in all mosques
and temples. Men must cover their heads in Jewish places of worship.

Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes are a must. Bring an old pair of sneakers or water shoes for walking
on the rocky sea bed of the Dead Sea.

Bring sunglasses and a sun hat.

Currency
The currency of Israel is the New Shekel and it is divided into 100 Argorot. Money can be changed at banks and in hotels. Many Israelis will talk in terms of American dollars when quoting prices. Most major credit cards are accepted in Israel.

Electricity
The electric current is 110-240 volts. Wall plugs are the round, two pronged European type

Deposit and Payment Policy:
• A deposit of $500 per person, per country booked is required
upon booking the tour.
• Final payment is due sixty days prior to departure.
• If booking within 21 days of travel, an additional fee of $75 per person will apply.
• A change fee of $50 per person will apply to any changes made by the traveler after confirmation has been sent.

Cancellations & Refunds:
Transportation, lodging, meals, entertainment and other services are sold on a partially refundable basis depending upon the date, in relation
to the departure date, such services are cancelled. The cancellation fees and calculations are set forth below:

• 61 days or more prior to departure, a service fee of $100 per person, per country will apply.
• If a tour is cancelled 60 days or less from departure date and full payment has not been received in our office, the deposit will then be forfeited in full.
• Once full payment has been received, any refund made will be subject to a $75 per person administration fee.
• 59 to 30 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 50% of the tour cost will apply.
• 29 to 15 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 75% of the tour cost will apply.
• 14 days or less prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 100% of the tour cost will apply.
• No refund will apply to any unused services including but not limited to flights, accommodations, touring, meals and/or transportation.
